This very nice WK PSG2400L is what you're looking for.  All the way from 50khz to 2400mhz, with a high-performance modulation-section too.  AM/FM/PM, built-in wide range DDS modulation-source; and provision to use that and a 2nd external mod-source at the same time for complex-modulations.

One of the nicest capabilities of this unit is that it also does SWEEP!  You can not only sweep the frequency, but also the output-level too.  In fact, you can sweep most major operating parameters; individually or together.  It's programmable right on the front-panel.

Note: this unit has GPIB/488 computer-interface option too....control it from your PC.

(note; the LED display works perfectly....it's the digital-camera speed that makes it look 'spotty' here)


I don't have the equipment to run a full set of tests on it, but I do have a 150mhz portable scope, so I ran what simple tests I could; to show you that it's powering up and putting out controllable signals.  Although I can't warranty it, as far as I know it's working perfectly in every regard.

The first test I ran is shown in the picture above....putting a 0dbm 100mhz carrier into the scope's 50 ohm input.  The 2nd test, shown below, was to increase the freq as high as I could show you with my 150mhz scope.  At 500mhz, the scope was still game, but fading fast...



Pic-3 shows a 1 mhz carrier AM-modulated 66% with 1khz from internal mod-source #1...



This 2400L looks to have been barely used.  You can see in the pictures that the front-panel is like brand new; other than a single slight mar on the display-bezel.  The top and sides are very good.  The rear does show the look of having been mounted in a rack at a cell-site at one time.  As shown in the extra pictures below, there is very slight surface-corrosion on the screw-heads and power-supply covers.

One nice thing about buying this particular unit from me.....you don't have to worry about chasing down a manual for it, because...

Note:  the two plastic 'feet' on the rear are broken.  That happened when it was shipped to me originally.  I was going to epoxy them back on before selling it today, but I thought that you'd probably prefer to do that job yourself, to be able to choose your own glue, etc..  Both handles are still with the gen, for repair.  These handles have no effect whatsoever on the operation of the generator.
