I can't claim I used this unit more than a few times, but it always tickled me to use a $15,000 fast 500mhz scope as a 3.5 digit DMM....lol....

The neat thing is that it puts the value on the CRT as a readout; so you can capture the info on a picture along with the traces of the 'live' signals.  Since it works in ANY compartment, you can still use a pair of dual-trace verticals to still get 4 traces, AND have a readout of voltage, current, or resistance (or temperature!) from this 7D13.

The Tek book says this about the 7D13.....

"The 7D13 is designed for use in all 7000 series Oscilloscope Mainframes with CRT readout. It measures dc volts, dc current, and resistance. It also measures temperature from a temperature sensor on the tip of the P6058 voltage/temperature probe. This unit features:
