This
is a great plug-in to own if you do any kind of work with low-level
signals in high-impedance circuits. Instrumentation/DAQ and Audio
come to mind. It's fast (250mhz) and has low input-loading (just
5.8 pf).
The Tek catalog says it all....
"The
7A11 Wideband Plug-In Amplifier with the captive FET probe input
configuration optimizes signal acquisition with high resistance (1
Mohm) and low capacitance (5.8 pF at 5 mV/div), without loss of signal
amplitude by probe attenuation.
Two 20X attenuators, physically
mounted in the probe tip, are relay-switched into the input signal path
at the appropriate deflection factor. Therefore you need not concern
yourself with manual plug-on attenuators and signal dynamic range."

This one has an almost perfect front-panel, a good probe-tip, and is a nice clean unit.

Time: We live in the mountains now, and my wife gets into town a
couple
times a week for mail and groceries (I don't drive much any more,
since my vision is failing). Expect about a week between
receipt/clearing of your payment and when the carefully-packed
instrument is dropped off at the UPS terminal or Post Office in
Medford, Oregon.
